View Zoom Data Collected by Aternity

Aternity integrates with Zoom and collects data about Zoom meetings. This allows organizations to investigate and troubleshoot calls and meetings quality in Zoom using Aternity advanced dashboard. The description of the collected data is coming from Zoom.

Aternity collects the following Zoom-related dimensions:

Audio Microphone Device

Displays the manufacturer and model name of a participant's microphone (a capture device, either built-in or standalone, used for collecting audio input used by a participant in a ZOOM meeting.

Audio Speaker Device

Displays the manufacturer and model name of a participant's audio output (render) device, and the type of device, like speakers or headphones.

Displays the unique ID number of the meeting you joined.

Displays the meeting start time.

Displays the UUID (universally unique identifier) of the meeting.

Device CPU Utilization Max (Windows, Mac and mobile, except Android 8 and later) Displays the percentage CPU utilization of the core with the greatest usage at a given time. For example, if the device has four CPU cores, where one is at 80%, one is at 60% and the others are idle, it will display a value of 80%.

Displays the peak CPU usage (in percent) of this managed application during the timeframe, which is part of the application's process resource consumption (PRC).

Audio Network Rating

Audio Rating measures a user's experience during a Zoom audio meeting.

It assesses quality by measuring the network jitter, latency, and packet loss to score the user experience.

It rates the audio for each minute of each participant as Good, Poor or Not Applicable based on latency, packet loss and jitter thresholds.

Not Applicable means no audio was used at this minute for this participant. Poor means that audio latency (input or output) > 250ms or the jitter (input or output) > 30 ms or packet loss (input or output) > 10%.

Video Network Rating

Video Rating measures a user's experience during a Zoom video meeting.

It assesses quality by measuring the network jitter, latency, and packet loss to score the user experience.

It rates the video for each minute of each participant as Good, Poor or Not Applicable based on latency, packet loss and jitter thresholds.

Not Applicable means no video was used at this minute for this participant. Poor means that video latency (input or output) > 250ms or the jitter (input or output) > 30 ms or packet loss (input or output) > 10%.

Application Sharing Network Rating

Application Sharing Rating measures a user's experience during a Zoom meeting where participants used the screen sharing feature.

It assesses quality by measuring the network jitter, latency, and packet loss to score the user experience.

It rates the application sharing for each minute of each participant as Good, Poor or Not Applicable based on latency, packet loss and jitter thresholds.

Not Applicable means no application was shared at this minute for this participant. Poor means that application sharing latency (input or output) > 250ms or the jitter (input or output) > 30 ms or packet loss (input or output) > 10%.

Network Measurements Rating

The Network Measurements Rating score measures a user's experience during every minute of a Zoom meeting. It depends on all other ratings, like Audio Network Rating, Video Network Rating, and Application Sharing Network Rating.

Rating criteria is as follows:

First of all, Aternity checks if the quality is poor. The score shows Poor if at least one of the audio/video/application sharing ratings is poor.

Then, if there are no poor ratings, Aternity checks if at least one of audio/video/application sharing ratings is good and if so, shows Good; otherwise, it is Not Applicable.
