View Data for Cisco Webex Meetings Collected by Aternity

Aternity Agent for End User Devices 12.1 queries Cisco Webex Meetings and collects call statistics from end-user devices. This allows organizations to analyze calls quality in Webex.

Note that currently Aternity reports only on call quality metrics from Cisco WebEx Meetings Client.

Audio Dimensions (Attributes)
Audio Codec

Displays the name of the codec which Webex used to decode the compressed audio sound.

Score
Audio Inbound Network Rating Score or Audio Outbound Network Rating Score

Audio Rating measures a user's experience during an audio meeting. The score displays the audio quality during a Webex incoming or outgoing call.

It assesses quality by measuring the network jitter, latency, and dropped packets to score the quality for a single device in a single call.

The score can be Poor, Good, or Not Applicable, based on audio measures for incoming or outgoing calls.

If jitter, latency, or dropped packets breach their respective thresholds, the audio quality is low (Poor). Poor means that at least one of the following metrics meet:
  • Latency > 250ms
  • Jitter > 30ms
  • Packet loss > 10%

Not Applicable means that there are no relevant metrics for that call. Otherwise, the score is Good.

Audio Network Rating Score

Displays the overall quality rating for a Webex audio call. The rating is Poor if at least one of audio ratings (inbound or outbound) is poor; otherwise, it is Good. If there are no ratings for both incoming and outgoing calls, then the rating is Not Applicable.

Meeting Inbound Network Rating Score or Meeting Outbound Network Rating Score

Meeting Rating Score measures a user's experience during the Webex meeting. The score displays the meeting quality during that meeting.

If jitter, latency, or dropped packets breach their respective thresholds, the meeting quality is low (Poor). Poor means that at least one of the following metrics meet:
  • Latency > 250ms
  • Jitter > 30ms
  • Packet loss > 10%

Not Applicable means that there are no relevant metrics for that call. Otherwise, the score is Good.

Displays the overall network quality during a Webex meeting while considering both inbound and outbound network quality.

It assesses quality by measuring the network jitter, latency, and dropped packets to score the quality .

Provides visibility on the incoming calls quality based on network metrics collected for the time of a meeting.

Displays an estimate of the network quality, on a scale between 0 and 5, where 5 is the best score and 0 is the worst, and where breaching the Poor threshold for any one of the fields returns 2.

The formula for the Network Quality is as follows:
5 - 3*(Latency/250 + Jitter/30 + Packet Loss/10)
Audio Outbound Network Quality

Provides visibility on the outgoing calls quality based on network metrics collected for the time of a meeting.

Displays an estimate of the network quality, on a scale between 0 and 5, where 5 is the best score and 0 is the worst, and where breaching the Poor threshold for any one of the fields returns 2.
