Score (Activity Score)

The activity score is a value (0-100) which summarizes the statuses of all activity response times into a single value. Each value is calculated using our Apdex-inspired formula, and also has a status and color.

Aggregating many end user activities into a single score and status

Use the score to measure short term (acute) recent or sudden changes from regular baselined performance.

(For Skype for Business / Lync calls) Aternity creates baselines for MOS scores in exactly the same way that it baselines activity response times, combining them into an activity score and a status. A dropped call lowers the score's status (like from Good to Fair). Failed calls always have a Critical status.

Therefore if the MOS status has been consistently poor for some time, Aternity may display a high activity score, because its baselines would have adjusted to this performance.
