Table of contents Key Task: Mobile Apps Summary With the Mobile Apps Summary dashboard, you can view a trend of the usage and performance of all the monitored mobile apps in your organization, including how often people use them, their stability (errors or crashes), and their web-based performance (HTTP requests). This data is available by default, without requiring you to create any custom activities. For example, you can check the adoption rate of an app, or see if apps make too many HTTP requests which can be expensive. Or you can see at a glance the number of times an app was launched or loaded from the background, the responsiveness of its internet connections, and how often it uses network connections. Monitor Mobile Apps dashboard ProcedureStep 1 Open a browser and sign in to Aternity. Step 2 Select Main Menu > Library > Mobile. Select Go to dashboard to open the dashboard. Step 3 See the trend of key metrics of all monitored mobile apps, including how often people use them, their stability, and their network performance. View the app's adoption rate and stability. By selecting one app or a certain version, limit the view and analyze the trend of the required app only. See trend of a certain app or version Step 4 View the app's adoption rate and stability in the top right graphs of the dashboard. For example, verify if employees are adopting the new version of your app by validating if the number of app loads is as expected. If the usage is low, check for poor performance (a rise on the Number of Crashes graph) at that time. Hover over the graph to view the date and the exact values in the pop-up window. Step 5 View the recent trend in the app's performance of HTTP requests. If your app relies on web data intensively, this graph increasingly reflects the overall performance of your app. HTTP response times have a status like all other activity response times relative to their recent performance (baseline). Step 6 Select at the top of the window whether to view Raw data one week back or Hourly data for the last month. Step 7 (Optional) Export the dashboard data to Excel, Image or PDF file. a Select Download. For simple dashboards, at the bottom right of the screen. For advanced dashboards, on the top tool bar. Download a dashboard Note In Analyze dashboards, make sure you scroll down the dashboard until the end of the data. Otherwise, you might not see the Download button. b Select the required option depending on where you exporting the dashboard. To download as Excel file, select Crosstab To download as an image file, select Image To download as PDF file, select PDF To download as PowerPoint file, select PowerPoint Note Make sure you have data on a sheet. If the sheet is empty, the Crosstab menu is unavailable. c For PDF and PowerPoint only, define additional settings. d Select Download to start the process or Cancel to cancel. Open the file from your Downloads folder or from any other predefined destination for file downloads.
