Table of contents Key Task: Monitor Employee Sentiment (Beta) This dashboard allows IT executives to monitor the sentiment of employees reflected in a survey. For example, you can easily see if employees are satisfied with their computers. The Sentiment Survey dashboard provides a quick view on survey responses, including the overall response score, distribution of responses, and the volume of responses, to proactively check if employees are satisfied or not. Field Description Summary bar Likert scale questions can help your enterprise in researching employee opinion. You can view the amount of responses, the responsiveness rate, and the score of employees' sentiment. Responses Trend This widget displays the number of responses (by any number of users) per day and the score of opinions (positive, neutral, or negative) for those responses. Survey Responses This widget lists all questions with their respective Likert scale items and displays the sum of responses to each Likert item. In other words, how many people selected a certain answer (opinion). Survey Responses Departments/ Business Locations Assess the employee sentiment in different parts of your organization. ProcedureStep 1 Open a browser and sign in to Aternity. Step 2 To access this dashboard: Select Main Menu > Monitor > Sentiment Survey. Step 3 In the Survey Name menu in the top right corner of the screen, select the survey which results you want to analyze. Step 4 To view a summary of the IT-experience sentiment at a glance, view the summary bar of the dashboard. Field Description Response score Percent of positive responses compared to the total number of responses received. View the calculation of the sentiment score For example, you can see on the above image that the percentage of positive responses is less than 50%, so that the score is red. Assign each response a point value, from 1 to 10, based on the number of responses. Legend: Green displays the positive opinion of employees (7.5-10) Yellow displays the neutral opinion of employees (5.5-7.5) Red displays the negative opinion of employees (0-5.5) Response Sentiment Assign each response a sentiment: Positive (green), Neutral (yellow) or Negative (red). For instance, for a 5-choice question (5-scale likert question) – top 2 are positive, bottom 2 are negative and the middle one is neutral. Responses Displays the total number of responses during the selected timeframe. Total Responsiveness (Regardless of Timeframe) Displays the response rate, the percentage of people who completed the survey (Total Responses) divided by the number of people you sent the survey to (Total Survey Requests): View the tooltip to see the values for the calculation This value covers the period from the survey first launch date and until the current time when you are viewing the dashboard. Step 5 You can narrow the scope of the data displayed by selecting a certain bar/date for further analysis.The view in other widgets will be filtered accordingly to show data only for the selected item. Step 6 You can limit the display of the dashboard using the menus at the top of the window. Field Description Timeframe You can change the start time of the data displayed in the dashboard in the Timeframe menu in the top right corner of the screen. This menu impacts all tabs available in this view. Step 7 (Optional) Export the dashboard data to Excel, Image or PDF file. a Select Download. For simple dashboards, at the bottom right of the screen. For advanced dashboards, on the top tool bar. Download a dashboard Note In Analyze dashboards, make sure you scroll down the dashboard until the end of the data. Otherwise, you might not see the Download button. b Select the required option depending on where you exporting the dashboard. To download as Excel file, select Crosstab To download as an image file, select Image To download as PDF file, select PDF To download as PowerPoint file, select PowerPoint Note Make sure you have data on a sheet. If the sheet is empty, the Crosstab menu is unavailable. c For PDF and PowerPoint only, define additional settings. d Select Download to start the process or Cancel to cancel.
