Analyze in Aternity Dashboards

You can test your own troubleshooting theories by finding common threads (correlations) between an application's performance and two or more attributes. Alternatively, you can create your own Analyze Multiple Data Sources (Advanced) dashboard to completely customize your layout from a blank canvas, for the ultimate flexibility to display complex correlations between as many attributes as you need.

Analyze data more flexibly

Aternity offers a number of Analyze dashboards:

  • Use Create Your Own Dashboard option (previously called Analyze Multiple Data Sources (Advanced)) to build a dashboard that includes widgets from multiple data sources in order to provide a holistic view that correlates between data of different types. Learn more.

  • Use the Analyze Applications dashboard to check if any applications are slow when they run on devices with certain attributes. There are several dashboards within this one; select the Measurements to fit the data you need. Learn more.

  • Use the Analyze Business Activities dashboard to find a correlation between the performance of a managed application's activities and any two monitored attributes, and then narrow down the data further.   • Use Analyze Device Health to track errors and crashes throughout your organization by viewing the latest individual health events with all their details. You can also analyze for patterns with specific types of health events to find correlations with attributes like the device model, RAM, location, disk type and so on. Learn more.

  • Use the Analyze Host Resources dashboard to find the devices with the highest CPU and memory usage (HRC, not the usage by one application). You can verify a hypothesis about high resource usage to find the common elements in all poorly-performing devices, by correlating high HRC with other system or software attributes. Learn more.
  • Use the Analyze Process Resources dashboard to find the managed applications on Windows and Mac that use the highest CPU and memory resources (PRC), which would slow down devices, and compare between applications or versions of an application to find the most efficient implementation (lowest PRC) in different operating systems or other attributes.   • Use the Analyze Remediation Actions dashboard to easily track and measure the progress of remediation work. Get an overall view of all actions that have been executed by IT service provider and analyze their value to organization by analyzing their states, such as completed, failed, declined, and others.   • Use the Analyze Skype for Business Calls dashboard to find correlations that might justify an improvement or worsening in call quality (MOS score) in Microsoft Skype for Business or Lync on monitored devices running Agent for End User Devices 9.1.x or later, both for regular Office and O365.
